One of the most popular rap groups to hit the stages here in the Turks and Caicos Islands is comprised of members Eswann, Orane, Jabba and Kutless. The name BlaKout actually was a real and symbolic description for the group, real in the sense that the members were a bunch of young performers coming out of the dark and into light making a brighter future. BlaKouT has to date released a number of hot singles such as “Thoroughbred” and “In the game” as well as releasing countless mix tapes throughout the years. Their latest video “Punish Dem” featuring Mr. Vegas has become an instant hit with heavy rotation on the local Tv Station and airwaves. Following the release of “Punish Em”, Blackout released “Green light” as a dancehall single with the follow up remix to the single featuring Elephant Man. The single is in heavy rotation in the TCI on all major radio stations including Radio Turks & Caicos.
