A 25-year-old female of Five Cays Providenciales was arrested and charged yesterday for wounding in connection with a report of a fight that was made on Friday 8th April 2016.
On that date, police responded to a bar on Aviation Drive after receiving reports of multiple fights. During one of the fights, a 23year old female received a non-life-threatening stab wound to her leg and was taken to the Cheshire Hall Medical Centre.
Police launched investigations and on Sunday 9th April, the 25-year-old suspect was arrested and later charged.
She was taken to the Magistrate’s Court today where she was not allowed to enter a plea. She’s remanded until the 28th April 2016.
