GENERAL SITUATION: A mid- to upper-level disturbance will continue to generate unsettled weather across much of the Turks and Caicos Islands, supporting scattered showers and isolated thunderstorm activity.
SPECIAL WARNINGS: There is a moderate risk of flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas during heavy or prolonged rainfall periods.

EXTENDED FORECAST: A mid- to upper-level disturbance is expected to meander near the Turks and Caicos Islands through the work week, continuing to stream moisture across the country. This will bring periods of showers and possible thunderstorms, which could disrupt outdoor activities and produce heavy downpours at times. Heavy downpours may lead to localized flooding in low-lying and flood-prone areas at times.
TUESDAY: A low (10 percent) chance of isolated showers in the morning, then a low (20 to 30 percent) chance of widely scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms in the afternoon. There is a marginal to slight risk of severe thunderstorm activity. Partly cloudy, with a high near 88°F (31°C).
