Students from 11 government and private high schools throughout the islands took part in the 2016 Spelling Bee competition held in Provo.

The students have been busy for weeks maneuvering how they’re going to out-perform their colleagues to win this year’s Spelling Bee. 

At the start of the opening ceremony, Mins for Education, the Hon. Akeirra Missick welcomed all the spellers highlight familiar faces from previous competitions.

Rachel Harvey was the emcee; she gave us a summary of the eliminations.

Rachel provided the results of the final 3.

They were, the defending champions BWIC, followed by Clement Howell & TCIPS.
