While the Championship Game was rained out on Monday evening, fans turned out in green and other colours for the 2012 Church Softball competition.
The Coed Slow Pitch Softball Championship between Bethany baptist Church and Jericho Baptist Church ended with the 2012 Champions Bethany defeating Jericho 19- 8.
Bethany blew the game open in the fourth Inning with 10 points, and on to capture the championship.

Godfrey Been of the Softball association was pleased with the results and commended all churches that took part in the league. He also said for all to celebrate in the true spirit of sports the general public is invited for a fun day on the down town ball park this coming saturday 23/6/12 starting at 11am
