Vaden Delroy Williams, the sixth child, and fourth son to Henry Nathaniel Williams, and Cecelia Louise Swann-Williams, of Wheeland, Providenciales, was born on March 16th 1971, in a family of five boys and two girls.
His mother and father once ran their own business: “Henry’s Road Runners’ Restaurant,” and “Henry’s Seafood. They are well known all over Providenciales for their kindness and hospitality and their contribution to the cultural heritage of the community of Blue Hills.
Delroy was christened at the Bethany Baptist Church in Wheeland. From 1975 to 1974, he attended the Blue Hills Primary School now renamed the Oseta Jolly Primary, in Blue Hills. From 1984 to 1989, he attended the Turks & Caicos High School now renamed the H.J. Robinson High School; in Grand Turk, Graduating with CXC passes of distinction in Accounts and Mathematics.
Delroy is married to the former Miss Patrice Georgina Cunningham of Nassau Bahamas, daughter of local taxi driver George Cunningham, and Eulease Brooks , a Nurse at Princess Margaret Hospital in Nassau, Bahamas. The couple has two sons: Errol and Vaden Jnr.
Delory from an early age has always displayed leadership qualities and strong leadership skills through his creation and establishment of personal ventures.
Delroy has always shown an interest in community activities, having come from a well-know family on all sides, that have themselves serve and given unselfishly to Blue Hills and the entire Turks & Caicos Islands Community.
Earlier this year he along with his wife Patrice, contributed to the improvement to the Fuller & Clementia Walkin Park located in Blue Hills. Delroy was the first to introduce the back to school party and books give away and hair cuts to the returning students of Blue Hills Schools in August 2002. He also was the first to bring about the first Christmas Tree Lighting to the community of Blue Hills.
Delroy is fun Loving, Kind, very considerate and compassionate and holds strong family and Christian values, as one of his attributes. The people of Wheeland will no doubt, find him to be the right person for their choice of candidate, and will not regret having made the choice of electing him as their representative.
