Edith Cox

Edith Cox was born and raised in the island of South Caicos, educated in the Bahamas and the United States and returned home as one of the first local Certified Public Accountants. She has held many senior positions in the area of finance and is currently Group Finance Director for the Lanchester group of companies.

 Edith has held positions as Vice President of the Women in Development, an NGO concerned with the social needs of women, Treasurer of Le Reve Foundation, a charity organization and member of the Turks and Caicos Red Cross. Until recently, she was also a member of the Advisory Council.
Edith has a passion for young people and sports in the Turks and Caicos Islands and was instrumental in the successful hosting of CARIFTA 2007 as the person in charge of the finances of the Local Organising Committee. She also supported Team TCI in Guadeloupe in 2006, India 2010 and in Bermuda earlier this year. She is a member of the Board of Graceway Sports Center and a member of the Panthers Track Club.
Most importantly, Edith is proud to be the daughter of Lewis Cox and the Late Lucille Cox of South Caicos, and mom to her handsome son Myles.
