The RTCIPF, Police say they continue to grapple with one aspect of crime which does not seem to be letting up – that of vandalism of person’s vehicles. 

Police reported that in addition to a number of car thefts reported last week, two vehicles were again reported broken into within a 24 hour period. 

In the first report, Public Relations Officer Audley Astwood, said a grey Toyota RV4 jeep was left parked on Thursday night near a business place along Five Cays Road. The owner discovered some time Saturday morning that the front driver window was broken. Officers made observation of the damages. Scenes of Crime Officers visited and processed the vehicle.

In the second report, a Toyota Corolla was left parked on Friday night near his home along Bible Street. The owner discovered some time Saturday morning that a window was broken and a sum of cash was stolen. 

Specialist Forensic Officers visited both scenes and processed the vehicles for forensic analysis. 

Investigations are ongoing.
