To My Constituents,
As many of you may be aware, the landfill in Wheeland experienced a fire earlier today, which is currently being extinguished by the contractor operators. I have been in constant dialogue with the Minister responsible for Health, who has made the necessary resources available to extinguish the flames.
Blatant attempts at sabotage will not be tolerated under any circumstances, as I will see to it that the incident in question will receive the necessary attention and investigation.
We kindly ask the public to stay away from the landfill for your safety as well as to allow the authorities to work diligently and unimpeded to extinguish the fire.
I will keep you all updated as I receive further details and relevant information.
