The Youth Tribunal serves as a platform for young people to raise issues affecting the country, hear from professionals and community leaders, and contribute to discussions on matters of national importance. The latest session brought together young voices, creatives, advocates and professionals to consider whether enough is being done to preserve the traditions, stories and history that define the Turks and Caicos Islands.
With concerns being raised about aspects of the Islands’ culture being lost or becoming less prominent, the discussion also focused on the need for deliberate preservation efforts and greater involvement from young people.
