EXTENDED FORECAST: A cold front will gradually approach the Turks and Caicos Islands, moving through the island chain by late Tuesday/Wednesday. In its wake, strong northeasterly winds and rough seas will develop, creating hazardous marine and beach conditions. High pressure will build behind the front on Wednesday, bringing slightly cooler temperatures, while large northerly swells may linger near the area from Wednesday into Thursday.
