POLICE have today named a teenage American tourist who died following a diving accident off Grand Turk, earlier this month.
Bhavish Zinzuwadia, 17, a passenger on the cruise ship, Carnival Pride, lost consciousness in the water during a Carnival Cruise Lines-sponsored SCUBA diving excursion on April 4.
He was treated at the scene by diving instructors before being rushed to the Cockburn Town Medical Centre.
The victim was then transferred to a hospital in South Florida where he died on April 8.
The incident is currently under investigation.
