The Ministry of Border Control and Labour would like to advise the public that the technical difficulties experienced with the passport server last week had been resolved. The system is now fully functional and passports are being produced as normal.
The Ministry would also like to take this opportunity to remind individuals to check their passports as some destinations require that there is a minimum of 6 months before the expiry date. If your passport expires in less than six months, you are being urged to renew it immediately.
Anyone who is planning to travel for the holidays is also being urged to submit applications to the Ministry as soon as possible.
