· Parkyourvehicle(s)inaplacethatwillbesafestfromfallingtreesandutilitypoles.
· Moveboatstosafeharbour.
· Takedownradioandsatelliteantennas.
· Unplugallmajorappliances.
· Turnoffelectricityfrommainswitch24hoursbeforestormisexpectedtohit.
· Ensurethatyourpropertyissecured.

· IfyoufeelyourhomeisunsafeproceedtothenearestPublicShelter.
· Ifyouaregoingtoashelter,takefood,water,blankets,medication,personalhygieneitemsandallimportantdocuments.
· Staycalmandcontinuetomonitortheprogressofthestorm.
