The Royal Turks & Caicos Islands Police are confirming that a number of officers were tested for Tuberculosis recently.
Acting Superintendent Kendal Grant has confirmed that officers are still being tested as appointments are scheduled for Tuesday 18th, June 2013. All Police stations were sanitized according to advisory of Health Officials and Police officers are continually being briefed.
An inspection of Five Cays Police Station is scheduled for next week. Only one officer has tested positive for the virus and is at home recovering.
