The HAB Group TCICA summer Cricket Competition continued on Sunday 29th May 2016, at the Downtown Ball Park with Beaches washed away Mitsubishi Electric Tigers.
Mitsubishi Tigers won the toss and elected to bat first, and reached 164 for 9 wickets in the allotted 20 overs. Top scorer was Marlon Graham 37 (6×4) and Blair Mason added 23 runs (4×4, 1×6).
Bowling for Beaches Sanjay Pawar from India took 3 wickets for 24 runs from 4 overs. Jesse Alexander and Jayes Nelson took two wickets a piece.
In reply, Beaches reached the target in 17.2 overs for the loss of 4 wickets. The principal scorer was Danar Lewis on unbeaten 49 runs (3×4,4×6) and Siddhu Hunter chipped in with 36 runs (4×4, 2×6).
Bowling for Mitsubishi Tigers Marlon Graham, Chubby Challery and Mason took one wicket each.
Man of the match awarded to Danar Lewis of the victorious Beaches Team.
Meanwhile the competition will continue on Sunday 22rd May 2016 with Mitsibhishi Tigers taking on the Law men.
