Turks and Caicos singer and performer Chrystal Charles, commonly known as TESS, will be hosting a summer moon, toes in the sand session on Friday, August 19, 2016 at 8 p.m.
TESS, who has now entered full time into the entertainment field, is once again channeling her love for performance into a snazzy jazz night with cabaret flare and island charm. Moonlit Jazz will give a feeling of refreshing nostalgia with its old school showmanship and relaxed atmosphere on the Rotary Park Beach, next to Bay Bistro Restaurant.
After the success of her first executively produced stage show, ‘LISTEN’, held November 2015 at the Palms Courtyard, Charles felt it necessary to bring a little artistry and fun to the summer months end.
“I will be hosting the second annual Jazz and Soul show this coming November again at the Palms, however I wanted to do something a little bit different during the summer! It’s all about the ambience, the fun and of course the artistry. It’s something a bit new for me too so I’m super excited!!” Charles explained with a grin.
Attendees of the Island Chic event will be entertained by lead vocalist Ms. Chrystal “TESS” Charles, who will be channeling to the audience her inner Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, Judy Garland an even a little bit of a showgirl!!
The night’s line up will also include a special debut of an original neo soul piece from the artist as well as appearances by professional dancers Ryesha Higgs, Shara Goldsmith and poet D. Rolle balancing out the local stars of the full moon event.
Ticket cost is $40 for general admission and $50 for front row seats, which are limited. Guests will receive one complimentary glass of sparkling wine upon arrival and all patrons are encouraged to arrive on time.
