Residents while few in numbers gathered in South Caicos this morning for the opening of the new NIB Office.
Members from NIB invited contributors and beneficiaries of the National Insurance Program to the office of the National Insurance Board which officially relocated from the Old District Commissioner’s Office to the Lewis Cox Building with effect from today Tuesday, June 21st.
Director for the NIB, Walter Gardiner told RTC earlier this morning that the move was to better accommodate our clientele, the NIB is pleased to advise that the office will now open from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday thru Friday; and until 4:00 p.m. on the last working day of each month.
Pensioners are invited to visit the new location to receive their pension cheques, enjoy a light lunch with refreshments, and meet the CEO / Director, Mr. Walter Gardiner and Deputy Director, Ms. Rhesa Cartwright.
RTC understands that the team are still in South Caicos and all are invited to come on down.
