The Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force has launched an investigation into the discovery of a body yesterday (July 5) afternoon.
Around 5:06 pm, a call was made to the Police Control Room, informing officers of a body seen in some bushes.
Officers and medical personnel were immediately dispatched to the given location along Miracle Close and discovered the lifeless body of a male.
Efforts are underway to confirm the identity of the deceased. Once an identification has been made, the next of kin will be notified in accordance with standard procedures.
The RT&CIPF urges the public to contact the nearest police station, call 911, or reach the Serious Crime Unit at 231-1842 to submit any information about this incident anonymously.
