The Government of the Turks and Caicos Islands (TCIG) remains committed to ensuring the safety of its citizenry and visitors during the Hurricane Season.

To effect this, an integral part of the Department of Disaster Management and Emergencies’ (DDME) Work Programme involves Shelter Management. The main aim of identifying such facilities is to provide safe, temporary accommodation for a significant number of residents and visitors, who may feel threatened due to an approaching weather system or may have been displaced/homeless subsequent to a disastrous event. In this regard, specific Shelters were selected across the Turks and Caicos Islands.

It is important to note that the TCIG-DDME reserves the right to add or remove a Shelter on the provided list at any time.
