The curtains came down on the Churches Softball league at the National Stadium last night, the new champion of the Church softball league is The Roman Catholic Church!
With two playoff wins, the Roman Catholic fought for their championship win against the defending champions Jericho Baptist.
Although Roman Catholic had two home runs by Jose and Gustavo, they still ended with a tie in at the bottom of the 7th inning going into over time, but in the end they took the lead finally winning the championship title with a score of 12-11.

During last night’s celebration in Provo, President Godfrey Been told our sports reporter that..’ the 2015 Champs, the Roman Catholic Church, played very hard through out the season and playoff, although they beat Jericho Baptist three straight it was not a easy win, in the third win they had to do it in overtime.
