Two men, 28 and 32 years old are in Police Custody assisting investigators with an attempted robbery incident which was reported on Sunday 7th February 2016 at a business establishment in the Bight.
One of the men who was at the time masked and armed with a handgun entered the building and ordered patrons to put up their hands when a struggle ensued. The security officer and patrons were able to disarm the gunman.
The suspect, however, managed to flee the scene before police arrived leaving behind the handgun and a quantity of live ammunition. They were handed over to the Police.
A crime scene was established, and investigations are ongoing.
