Officers with the New Orleans Police Department are investigating after multiple people were shot in the St. Roch area on Sunday, according to ABC News affiliate WGNO.
The NOPD reported that at least 12 victims were identified in two separate shootings.
Officials said the first shooting happened during a second line, where officers found eight people who had been shot.
A ninth victim arrived at a hospital in a private car for treatment.
About 45 minutes later in a separate location, police found three people shot. Two of them died.
