On Thursday 18th, February 2016 Rashad Stubbs of the Bight Providenciales was sentenced to five (5) years imprisonment after he was found guilty on charges of Keeping Firearm, Unlawful Possession of Cocaine and Unlawful Possession of Cannabis in the Supreme Court.
He was sentenced to five (5) years Imprisonment for keeping Firearm, nine (9) months for Unlawful Possession of Cocaine and four (4) months for Unlawful Possession of Cannabis.
The facts are, on Friday 20th March 2015 acting on information received, investigators of the Royal Turks and Caicos Islands Police Force executed a search warrant on the home of Mr. Stubbs. During the search, 1.0 grams of cannabis, 4.0 grams of cocaine, a silver and black Smith and Wesson firearm were found.
All sentences will run concurrently.
