6 Jamaican nationals have been arrested in Florida in relation to drug charges.
One of the men was wanted for allegedly firing several shots inside a restaurant in Brooklyn back in October of this year resulting in the death of an innocent bystander. The other 5 men were all charged with possession of marijuana with intent to distribute and possession of MDMA.
Late last week, law enforcement officials in the US confirmed that one of the men was staying at a condominium in Panama City Beach, Florida and obtained a search warrant for the said condo.
After the search of the building was concluded, the 6 men were detained when “several hundred grams of marijuana, MDMA pills and more than US$23,000” were seized.
