A 24 year old man has been charged with falsely misrepresenting-senting himself to be Vincentian Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves.
Jae-Phaque Lewis, was granted bail in the sum of $5,000 with one surety.
Lewis who pleaded not guilty when he made his court appearance faces two charges:
1. Falsely misrepresenting-senting himself to be Prime Minister Dr. Ralph Gonsalves, the person responsible for signing the Caricom skills certificates 2. and using a copy of a false instrument, to wit – one Caricom skills certificate.
Police reports are that the man who is said to be a tailor by profession, signed the document, misrepresenting himself to be the Prime Minister Gonsalves and then give it to a sibling , who used it to leave the state in 2012.
Police investigating the incident arrested and charged Lewis. He will make his next court appearance on May 23rd 2013
