The 2022/2023 Basketball Tournament wrapped up on Saturday night at the Gustarvus Lightbourne Sports Complex.
The Clement Howell Eagles defeated Louise Garland High, formerly known as Long Bay High 92 to 56 in the championship game, with HJ Robinson placing third in the tournament.
After a three-month-long season, the TCISS Inter-High School Basketball 2023 Champions have finally been crowned.
Making a comeback from their second-place win in 2021, the Clement Howell High School (CHHS) dominated against the A. Louise Garland Thomas High School (ALGTHS) 92-56. Earlier in the night 2021’s champions HJ Robinson High School (HJRHS) conquered the Alpha Christian Academy (ACA), who managed to hold their own against the strong team with a substantial record of wins. The game concluded 56 – 46 in favour of HRJHS.
This is the first time ACA has made it past the semi-finals in these games. Additionally, this is the first-time ALGTHS formerly known as Long Bay High School has made it to the finals.
