Congrats to our Golden Boy Delano Williams and his other Team Mates for capturing Bronze in the Men 400 Relays…. Great Job!!!!!!!
Ahead of making the trip to Beijing, Delano shared that he was ecstatic and proud to have made the World Championship 2015 team to Beijing China. He shared that he won’t have been doing his individual event but I would have been a part of the 4×4 pool and thanked everyone for their support and believing in his talent.
We all know that Delano shares every moment gets that he stands by his self-proclaimed motto…discipline, dedication & determination – his 3 D’s. No doubt powerful words that he drew on as he powered himself and his team to victory, capturing bronze, in the 4×400 metre relay.
The Medal presentation for Team Great Britain, saw TCI’s very own Delano Williams standing proudly among his fellow team mates of Martin Rooney, Jarryd Dunn and Rabiah Youseff Bkheit getting a bronze medal in the 4 X 400 Relay at the IAAF World Championships in Beijing – another crowning moment for the Turks and Caicos Islands.
Delano later posted on his Face Book page….”Talent win games, but teamwork and intelligence win championships” It was a pleasure and a whole lot of fun working with these fellows for GB 4x400m.”
